  • Opportunity to Use Talents: Clues include seeing that your unique talents and skills are maximized in a career. For example, you may have special talent as a writer, educator, person who empathizes with others, or leader. Careers that give you an opportunity to use those gifts will be appealing.

SIGI 3

SIGI 3, which stands for System Interactive Guidance Information, is a series of online interest and abilities assessments plus career information to help you explore. SIGI 3 can help you explore what to do with your major. It is available on-line at the Career Center Web site. SIGI 3 is broken up into five distinct sections:

  • Starting: Overview of SIGI 3
  • Assessment: What do I want?
  • Occupational Information: What Occupations Might I Like?
  • Analysis: Can I Do What is Required?
